No.793049-DMER-ME305ME3/22/2024-DMER(5HB3)/I/1519091/2026.- The Government of Punjab is pleased to re-constitute "Hospital Based Authorization Committee" constituted vide Notification No. THOTA/Ludhiana/HB-4-PB-5ME5/8849 Dated 22.06.2020 under the "Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act-1994 Rules-1995, Amended Act-2011 & Rules-2014" for Aykai Hospital, Ludhiana

| c) Two persons (preferably one women) of high integrity, social standing and credibility, who have served in high ranking Government positions, such as in higher judiciary, senior cadre of police service or who have served as a reader or professor in University Grants Commissioner approved university or are self – employed professionals of repute such as lawyers, chartered accountants, doctors of Indian Medical Association, reputed non-Government organization or renowned social worker | Member | 1. This Hospital Based Authorization Committee shall work as per the provisions of the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act-1994, Rules-1995, Amended Act-2011 & Rules-2014 as amended from time to time.
This Notification issues with the approval of competent authority.
Note:- According to Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Rules-2014 clause 15 of the rules, The Presence of Secretary Health/Medical Education or nominee and Director, Health Services/ Medical Education & Research or nominee are mandatory.
