The 13th October, 2026

No.WR-IRWR04/13/2025-IW3/492.- Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 11 of "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013" (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"). The Government of Punjab (Department of Water Resources, Punjab, Chandigarh), has issued Preliminary Notification vide No WR-IRWR04/13/2025-IW3/374 dated 20.07.2026 that the land specified in the Schedule below is likely to be acquired for the public purpose namely, "Land to be acquired for the area under the RD 124800 to 125270 of Mamdot Distributory".The substance of the said Notification was Published in the Newspapers "The Tribune" (English), and Ajit" (Punjabi) on dated 23.07.2026.

Whereas, as per provision of Section 4.1 of RFCTLARR Act 2013, commencement of Social Impact Assessment Study was notified by the Water Resources Department Punjab vide Notification No. WR-IRWR04/13/2025-IW3/49 Dated 19.01.2026 and the study was conducted by State Social Impact Assessment Authority of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. SIA team held public hearing with the affected families as per clause 5 of RFCTLAAR Act 2013, on dated 05.03.2026 which was notified vide newspaper namely "The Tribune" and "Ajit" on dated 10.02.2026. The team has concluded positive impacts outweigh the negative impacts of the project. SIA report was evaluated as per provision of clause 7 of RFCTLAAR Act 2013 by an independent multi- disciplinary expert group which was notified under Sub Section (1) and (2) of Section 7 of the Act 2013, vide Notification no. WR-IRWR04/21/2024-IW3/80 Dated. 04/02/2026. Social Impact Assessment Appraisal Expert Group comprising Sh. K.S. Sidhu, IAS (Retd.) Chairperson, Prof. Ramanjit Kaur Johal as member, Sh. Sudesh Kaul as member and Er. Gurdeep Singh SE (Retd.) professional Engineer; Member Secretary, in its Proceeding meeting dated 05.05.2026, found there are no other possible alternatives and the land proposed for acquisition is absolute bare- minimum. As per Section 6 of the Act 2013, SIA Study report and recommendations of Expert Group uploaded on government website https://ferozepur.nic.in. Thereafter, necessary proceeding under section 11(1) of the Act 2013, as mentioned in Para 1 was initiated.

(EXTRA), OCTOBER 14, 2026 (ASVN 22, 1948 SAKA) Whereas, the Land Acquisition Collector-cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Guru Harsahai has submitted report vide letter No.sup:/sdk-1-2026/1425 Dated 24/09/2026 that under theprovision of section 15(1) of RFCTLARR Act 2013, no objections to notification 11(1) from the date of its Publication i.e 23.07.2026 to within 60 days (upto 23.09.2026) have been received in the office of the Land Acquisition Collector-cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Guru Harsahai.

Now, therefore in exercise of powers conferred under section 19 of the said act, and after considering the report of objections under section 15, The Government of Punjab hereby declares that the land mentioned in the schedule annexed, hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid public purpose. The area of the land, its classification and other particulars are as per schedule below.

Plan of the land may be inspected in the offices of the Land Acquisition Collector-Cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Guru Harsahai.

This declaration is made under the provisions of section 19 of "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013" and under the provision of section 21 of "the Act ibid", public notice is made to whom it may concern, that the Government intends to take possession of the land. That the claims to compensation and Rehabilitation and Resettlement for all interests in such land along with their objections, if any, to the measurement be made to the land acquisition collector-cum-SDM. Guru Harsahai within 30 days from the date of publication of this notification.

Summary of the Rehabilitation and: No Displacement of affected persons.

Resettlement Scheme:

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (h) of section 3 and subsection (1) of Section 44 of the Act 2013, the Government of Punjab hereby appoints, Divisional Commissioner, Ferozepur to perform the function of Commissioner for Rehabilitation and Resettlement, for all proceeding hereinafter to be carried out under RFCTLAAR Act 2013, in respect of the said schedule land.

Determination of compensation in respect of the said land shall be made as per provisions of "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਉਕਤ ਐਕਟ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ 19 ਅਧੀਨ ਪ(cid:135)ਾਪਤ (cid:169)ਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰ ਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਹ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਿਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਅਨੁਸੂਚੀ ਿਵੱ ਚ ਿਜਕਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਮੀਨ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਜਨਤਕ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਪ(cid:135)ਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ "Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013" ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ 19 ਦੇ ਉਪਬੰ ਧ(cid:127) ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜ(cid:127)ਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਕਤ ਕਾਨੂ

ੰ ਨ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ 21 ਦੇ ਉਪਬੰ ਧ(cid:127) ਅਧੀਨ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੂਚਨ(cid:127) ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਦੀ ਹੈ ਿਕ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਉਕਤ ਭੂਮੀ ਦਾ ਕਬਜਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੁ

ੰ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰ ਧ ਿਵੱ ਚ ਉਕਤ ਭੂਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਿਹੱ ਿਸਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਆਵਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਨਰਵਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਨਰਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ (ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਵੇ) ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪ ਸਬੰ ਧੀ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਤਰਾਜ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾ ਇਸ ਅਿਧਸੂਚਨ(cid:127) ਦੀ ਪ(cid:135)ਕਾਸਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਰੀਖ ਤ(cid:131) 30 ਿਦਨ(cid:127) ਦੇ ਅੰ ਦਰ ਭੋ-ਪ(cid:135)ਾਪਤੀ ਕੁਲੈਕਟਰ ਕਮ-ਉਪ ਮੰ ਡਲ ਮੈਿਜਸਟ(cid:135) ੇਟ, ਗੁਰੂਹਰਸਹਾਏ ਕੋਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ

ੰ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਸਬੰ ਧ ਿਵੱ ਚ RFCTLAAR ਐਕਟ 2013 ਦੇ ਤਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤ(cid:131) ਬਾਅਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸਬੰ ਧੀ ਮੁੜ ਵਸੇਬੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਮਸ਼ਨਰ ਦਾ ਕੰ ਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਿਨਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜ(cid:127)ਦਾ ਹੈ।
