ववधयिों आदे ाो रम्ममललथ ारथे हुए) रामा्‍य ााूनू ूियम। HOME (GROUP-I) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Jaipur, June 13, 2025 G.S.R.36 .-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 523 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act No. 46 of 2023) and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the State Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (Rajasthan) Rules, 2025, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the BharatiyaNagarikSurakshaSanhita (Rajasthan) (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Substitution of rule 10.-The existing rule 10 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (Rajasthan) Rules, 2025, hereinafter referred to as the said rules, shall be substituted by the following, namely:-

"10. Report of police officer on completion of investigation.-(1)The officer-in-charge of the police station after completion of the investigation shall forward the detailed report in Form VI to the Magistrate empowered to take cognizance of the offence,and shall also communicate regarding the action taken by him to first informant in Form VII, either through electronic mode or through physical mode, preferably via electronic means:

Provided that where investigation is not completed within a period of ninety days, the officer-in-charge of the police station shall inform the progress of investigation to the first informant or victim either through electronic mode or through physical mode, preferably via electronic means."

3. Addition of new form VII.– After the existing Form VI appended to the said rules, the following new Form VII shall be added, namely:-
