NOTIFICATION

Jaipur, January 27, 2026

G.S.R.136 .-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 337 of the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009 (Act No. 18 of 2009), the State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Municipal (Administrative and Technical) Service Rules, 1963, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Municipal (Administrative and Technical) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of Schedule.- In Schedule appended to the Rajasthan Municipal (Administrative and Technical) Service Rules, 1963, under the head II Technical Officers,-

(i) in column number 3 against serial number 4, the existing entry shall be substituted by the following, namely:-

"50% by direct recruitment,

50% by promotion out of which,-

(i) 20% from Junior Engineer (Civil Diploma Holder), and

(ii) 80% from Junior Engineer (Civil Degree Holder).";

(ii) in column number 3 against serial number 4-A, the existing entry shall be substituted by the following, namely:-

"50% by direct recruitment,

50% by promotion out of which,-

(i) 20% from Junior Engineer (Electrical Diploma Holder), and

(ii) 80% from Junior Engineer (Electrical Degree Holder).";

(iii) in column number 3 against serial number 4-B, the existing entry shall be substitutedby the following, namely:- "50% by direct recruitment, 50% by promotion out of which,- 608 राजस्थान राज-पत्र, जनवरी 30, 2026 भाग 4 (ग) (i) 20% from Junior Engineer (Mechanical Diploma Holder), and (ii) 80% from Junior Engineer (Mechanical Degree Holder).".
