NOTIFICATION
Jaipur, April, 27, 2026
S.O.10 .-In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 167 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989, the State Government hereby,-
1. authorises,-
(i) officer not below the rank of Motor Vehicle Sub-Inspector of Transport and Road Safety Department, Rajasthan and officer not below the rank of Head
Constable of Rajasthan Police for the purpose of sub-rule (1), (2) and (13) of
rule 167 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989; and
(ii) officer not below the rank of District Transport Officerof Transport and Road safety Department, Rajasthan and officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent/Assistant Commissioner of Policefor the purpose of sub-rule (5) of rule 167 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 as Redressal Authority. Challan may becontested on e-challan portal (https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in) or ITMS portal (https://itmschallan.parivahan.gov.in); and
2. specifies that amount required to be deposited under sub-rule (9) of rule 167 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 shall be deposited one-challan portal (https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in) or ITMS portal (https://itmschallan.parivahan.gov .in).
