Amendment to the Rajasthan Power Sector Reorganisation Transfer Scheme-I, 2025.

G.S.R.21 .-The Rajasthan Power Sector Reorganisation Transfer Scheme-I, 2025 notified on 30th March 2026 (Published in Official Gazette, Extraordinary part 7, dated March 30, 2026) is amended in exercise of the power conferred by sub section (5) of section 14 of the Rajasthan Power Sector Reforms Act, 1999 (Act No. 23 of 1999). The clauses 2(i)(c), 3 & Part-II of Schedule A of the Rajasthan Power Sector Reorganisation Transfer Scheme-I, 2025 are amended as follows:-

1. Substitution of definition of "Effective date of transfer" appearing at sub- clause (2)(i)(c) as follows:

"The effective date of transfer of this scheme shall be 31st March, 2026".

2. Insertion of a new sub-clause 3 (iv):

(iv) "Assets and liabilities in respect of Chambal Complex of the shared generating stations of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are to be transferred on book value". 3. Insertion of a new sub-clause 3 (v): (v) "As a consideration for the transfer and vesting of the assets, the transferee (Rajasthan RajyaVidyutUtpadan Nigam Limited) shall pay the consideration as specified in the Schedule A - Part II (i.e. difference amount of the assets over liabilities) to the transferor (Rajasthan RajyaVidyutPrasaran Nigam Limited)." 95 राजस्थान राज-पत्र, जलाईु 01, 2026 भाग 4 (ग) 4. In Part-II of Schedule A,

The Aggregate Assets and Liabilities of RVPN to be vested in the RVUN is annexed at Schedule A-Part-II.
