NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

NOTIFICATIONS UNDER THE TAMIL NADU GOODS AND SERVICES TAX ACT, 2017 [G.O. Ms. No. 41, Commercial Taxes and Registration (B1), 23rd March 2018, Panguni 9, Hevilambi, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2049.]

No. II(2)/CTR/294(g-1)/2018.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 19 of 2017), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 1st day of April, 2018, as the date from which the provisions of sub-rules (ii) [other than clause (7)], (iii), (iv), (v), (vi) and (vii) of rule 2 of the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notiﬁ cation No.SRO A-12(a)/2018, dated the 7th March, 2018, published at Pages 1-11 in Part III—Section 1(a) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 7th March, 2018, shall come into force.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 19 of 2017), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, on being satisﬁ ed that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendment to the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notiﬁ cation No.II(2)/CTR/532(d-11)/2017, published at page 84 in Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated 29th June, 2017, and amended vide Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notiﬁ cation No.II(2)/CTR/858(a-12)/2017, published at page 13 in Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated 13th October, 2017, namely:-

AMENDMENT.

In the said notiﬁ cation, for the ﬁ gures, letters and words "31st day of March, 2018", the ﬁ gures, letters and words "30th day of June, 2018" shall be substituted.
