The following Act of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly received the assent of the Governor on the 16th April 2018 and is hereby published for general information:—
ACT No. 18 of 2018.
An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the
Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Short title and (Amendment) Act, 2018.
commencement.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Amendment of Tamil Nadu Act
2. In section 136-D of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983,
section 136-D.
30 of 1983. sub-section (23) shall be omitted.
