I n e x e r c i s e o f t h e p o w e r s c o n f e r r e d u n d e r s u b - s e c t i o n s ( 1 ) a n d ( 2 ) o f S e c t i o n 1 2 o f Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University Act, 2004 as amended in Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University (Amendment) Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 2017), a Search committee consisting of the following persons is constituted to recommend a panel of three names to the chancellor for appointment of Vice-chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, chennai:-

(i) Dr. Jatinkumar Harjivan Soni, .. chancellor's Nominee/convener

Swarnim Gujarat Sports University,

(ii) Prof. Dr. P. Thangaraju, .. Government Nominee/Member

Former Vice-chancellor,

Animal Sciences University.

2. Dr. Jatinkumar Harjivan Soni, the chancellor's nominee is the convener of the above said Search committee.

3. The Search committee is requested to recommend a panel of three names along with their bio-data, in accordance with the educational qualifications and experience mentioned in the Government Order 1st read above, to the Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, within four months from the date of its constitution, for appointment of Vice-chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, chennai.
