(Miscellaneous)

PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR ID-UL-FITR (RAMZAN) DECLARED ON 16TH JUNE 2018 UNDER THE NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS ACT, 1881.

[G.O. Ms. No. 421, Public (Miscellaneous), 14th June 2018, வைகாசி 31, விளம்பி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2049.] No. II(1)/PUMIS/13(d)/2018.

Under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Central Act XXVI of 1881) read with Notiﬁ cation of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs No.20-25-26, Public-1, dated 8th June 1957 the Government of Tamil Nadu hereby declares that Saturday the 16th June 2018 would be a Public Holiday on account of Id-ul-Fitr (Ramzan) instead of 15th June 2018.

2. The above Public Holiday notiﬁ ed shall also apply to all State Government Undertakings / Corporations / Boards, etc.
