Amendments to the Adhoc Rules in respect of Officers of the Co-operative Audit Department.

[G.O. Ms. No. 268, Finance (Co-operative Audit), 6th August 2018, ஆடி 21, விளம்பி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2049.] No. SRO B-69/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the adhoc rules published with the Finance Department Notifi cation No. S.R.O.B -222/87, dated the 26th June 1987, at pages 294 to 298 of Part Ill-Section I(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 22nd July 1987.

2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 14th June 1994.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Rules,

(1) in rule 6, in sub-rule (b), in the Table, in clause (b), against the post 2. Assistant Director of Co-operative Audit" in column (1) and the method of appointment "(ii) Recruitment by transfer" in column (2) thereof, for the entry "(ii) Departmental Test for Offi cers of the Co-operative Department in Co-operation, Auditing, Book-keeping and Banking and Rural Economics conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission" in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

"(ii) Departmental Test for Offi cers of the Co-operative Department in Co-operation, Auditing, Banking, Co-operative Management and Administration and Book-keeping conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission;";

(2) in rule 9, in sub-rule (a), in clause (ii), for the expression "Co-operation, Auditing, Book-keeping and Banking and Rural Economics", the expression "Co-operation, Auditing, Banking, Co-operative Management and Administration and Book-keeping" shall be substituted.

Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service

[G.O. Ms. No. 108, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (D2), 16th August 2018, ஆடி 31, விளம்பி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2049.]

No. SRO B-70/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service (Section 29 in Volume III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016):-

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st December 2014.

AMENDMENT

In the said Special Rules, in rule 14, in the "TABLE", against the entry "Category 2A Personal Assistants in the Departments of Secretariat other than Finance Department" in column (1) and the corresponding entry "Promotion" in column (2) thereof, in item (c) in column (3), for the qualifi cation "Service for a period of not less than fi ve years as Personal Clerk/Senior Personal Clerk", the qualifi cation "Service for a period of not less than three years as Personal Clerk/Senior Personal Clerk" shall be substituted.

Amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954.

[G.O. Ms. No. 112, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M), 23rd August 2018, ஆவணி 7, விளம்பி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2049.]

No. SRO B-71/2018.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to clause (3) of Article 320 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 (Volume-I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987).

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st March 1995.

AMENDMENT

In the said Regulations, in ANNEXURE I-A referred to in clause (b) of regulation 16, under the heading "A. STATE SERVICES", for the entry, "2. Law Offi cers in the City and muffasal including the Chief Assistant State Prosecutor, the Assistant State Prosecutor in the City of Madras and the Assistant Public Prosecutors, Grades I and II in the Tamil Nadu General Service", the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

2. Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade-I in the Tamil Nadu General Service".
