In exercise of the powers conferred by the provisio to Article 309 of the constitution of India, the governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Ad hoc rules published in the school Education Department Notification SRO No. B-16(a-1)/2016, published at Pages 1 and 2 in Part III – Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 23rd February, 2016.

2. (a) Amendments (1) and (4) shall be deemed to have come into force on 15th September, 2016.

(b) Amendments (2) and (3) shall be deemed to have come into force on the 3rd March, 2010.

Amendments

In the said rule,

(1) in the preamble to the rules, for the expression "The general" the expression "The Tamil Nadu government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act of 14 of 2016)" shall be substituted.

(2) rule 3, in item (ii), for the expression "direct recruitment by transfer" the expression "recruitment by transfer' shall be substituted.

(3) after rule 3, the following rule shall be inserted namely,-

"3A. The post is within the purview of Tamil Nadu public service commission.

(4) in rule 6 for the expression "The rule relating to reservation of appointment (General Rule 22)" the expression "The provisions contained in Section 27 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)" shall be substituted.

(3) in rule 6 for the expression "the rule relating to reservation of appointment (General Rule 22)" the expression "The provisions contained in Section 27 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)" shall be substituted.
