Adjournment of Civil and Sessions Courts in Dindigul District for the year 2019 in pursuance of the directions contained in the High Court's Offi cial Memorandum in Roc. No. 70337-A/2018/C3 dated 06-12-2018.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Civil and Sessions Courts in the Dindigul District will remain closed for SUMMER VACATION for 2019 as follows:

The Principal District and Sessions Court, Dindigul.

The Additional District and Sessions Court, Dindigul.

The Additional District Court (Fast Track Court), Palani.

Will remain closed from Wednesday, the 1st day of May 2019 to Sunday, the 2nd day of June 2019 (both days inclusive) for SUMMER VACATION. The said courts shall re-open on Monday, the 3rd day of June 2019.

2. The above mentioned courts will remain closed from Saturday, the 5th day of October 2019 to Sunday, the 13th day of October 2019 (both days inclusive), for DUSSEHRA HOLIDAYS. The said courts shall re-open on Monday the 14th day of October 2019.

3. The above mentioned courts will remain closed from Wednesday, the 25th day of December 2019 to Tuesday, the 31st day of December 2019 (both days inclusive) for CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.

4. The Offi ce of the Court of OFFICIAL RECEIVER, DINDIGUL will remain open throughout the Summer Vacation 2019.

5. (i) No Plaints/Petitions except Applications for grant of copies and for service and execution of process will ordinarily be received during the vacation.

(ii) In case of Vacation Civil Judge is appointed by the Government for this Dindigul District, Urgent Plaints, Appeals and Petitions in the Civil cases alone will be received and disposed off by the Vacation Sitting Judge in exercise of the powers vested in him under Section 30 of Central Act III of 1973 as Amended by the Tamil Nadu Act XVII of 1959.

6. The Offi ce of the Copying Establishment, Process Service Establishment, will be kept open throughout the vacation. No arrest warrants will be executed during the vacation and Central Record Room will also be kept open.

7. The Offi ce of other Sections will remain closed. Arrangements will however be made for the following works.

(i) For transmission of records in Appeals etc., to the High Court

(ii) For attending to all Administrative correspondences.

(iii) For furnishing the copies and process service Establishment with necessary records and original orders and

(iv) For receiving printing charges and plan copying fees etc., deposited into Court in respect of Copy Applications.

I. All the Civil and Sessions Court of the Unit of the District Judge, Nilgiris at Udhagamandalam will be closed from Wednesday, the 1st day of May, 2019 to Sunday, the 2nd day of June, 2019 (both days inclusive).

II. All the Civil and Sessions Court of the Unit of the District Judge, Nilgiris at Udhagamandalam will be closed from Saturday, the 5th day of October, 2019 to Sunday, the 13th day of October, 2019 (both days inclusive).

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

Ill. All the Civil and Sessions Court of the Unit of the District Judge, Nilgiris at Udhagamandalam will be closed from Wednesday, the 25th day of December, 2019, to Tuesday, the 31st day of December, 2019 (both days inclusive).

VII. The Offi ce of the other Department will remain closed, however arrangements will be made:-

(a) For Furnishing the Copies and Process Service with necessary relevent original records.

(b) For transmitting the records to the High Court for reference in appeals and revisions.

(c) For attending all administrative Correspondence.

(d) For receiving printing charges and plan fees and respect of Copy Applications.

VIII. Under Section 30 of Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act as amended by Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Act VII of 1959 if a Vacation Civil Judge is appointed for the Civil Unit of Nilgiris District, Suits, Appeals and other proceedings or Urgent Civil Nature will be received and disposed of by him in terms and rules that may be framed in this regard if not they should be presented before the Honble High Court of Madras.

IX. If no Vacation Sessions Judge is appointed or in the absence of the Sessions Judge, from the Division during the above adjournments, Urgent applications for grant of Bail should be made to the High Court of Madras.

X. There will be normally one sitting in the Summer Vacation every week.
