ESTABLISHMENT OF STATE COMPENSATORY AFFORESTATION FUND TAMIL NADU UNDER INTEREST BEARING SECTION OF PUBLIC ACCOUNT OF THE STATE OF TAMIL NADU UNDER THE COMPENSATORY AFFORESTATION FUND ACT.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) under Section 4 of the Compensatory Afforesation Fund Act, 2016 (38 of 2018), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby with effect from 7-03-2019 establishes for the purposes of this Act, a special fund referred as "State Compensatory Afforestation Fund-Tamil Nadu (SCAF)" under interest bearing section of Public Account of State of Tamil Nadu under distinct Minor head "129-State Compensatory Afforestation Fund (SCAF)" below the Major Head "8121-General and other Reserve Funds".
