In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby directs that in Tiruppur District, the District Munsif Court, Udumalpet, shall cease to have local jurisdiction over the entire Madathukulam Taluk and the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Madathukulam shall have and exercise local jurisdiction over the entire Taluk of Madathukulam with effect from the date on which the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Madathukulam assumes charge of the Court.

NOTIFICATION FOR RE-DESIGNATION OF COURTS AT ERANIEL IN KANNIYAKUMARI DISTRICT

Whereas the Government of Tamil Nadu have issued orders in G.O. Ms. No.132, Home (Cts.II) Department, dated 14-2-2017 that a Separate Judicial Magistrate Court at Eraniel be constituted by converting the existing Additional District Munsif Court, Eraniel and in G.O.Ms. No. 297, Home (Courts-III) Department, dated 5-4-2017 have issued orders that the existing Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Eraniel by Converted as Separate District Munsif Court at Eraniel.

Hence, it is hereby informed that on and from the date on which the District Munsif Court and Judicial Magistrate Court at Eraniel are constituted, the existing Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Eraniel shall be re-designated as District Munsif Court, Eraniel and the existing Additional District Munsif Court, Eraniel shall be re-designated as Judicial Magistrate Court, Eraniel.
