2. The Ad-hoc Rules hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and from 1st April 2002 and remain in force upto and inclusive of the date of retirement of the last incumbent absorbed from the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Oil Seeds Growers' Federation Limited.

1. Constitution.- The Service shall consist of the following classes, categories and posts, namely:-

6. Training.- Every person appointed to the post of Junior Assistant or Assistant, if he has not undergone the foundational for a period of two months, prior to such appointment, shall undergo the foundational training within two years from the date of appointment of the post:

Provided that every person appointed to the post of Assistant or Junior Assistant, after completion of 53 years of age need not undergo the foundational training.

7. Transfers & Postings.- The Commissioner/Director of Agriculture is the Competent Authority for transferring and postings for all the posts except Deputy General Manager. The Agricultural Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary /Secretary to Government, Agriculture Department is the competent authority for transferring and posting for Deputy General Manager.

8. Preparation of Annual List.- For the purpose of preparation of the annual list of approved candidates for appointment to the posts in the service by promotion and recruitment by transfer, the crucial date on which the candidates should have acquired the prescribed qualifi cations shall be the 1st April of Every Year.

9. Pay.- The scale of pay of the posts prescribed in column (1) of the Table below are specifi ed in column (2) thereof;

No. SRO B-27/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service (Section 21 in Volume III of Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016)

In the said Special Rules, in Part II, under the heading 'Branch IV General',-

(1) in rule 1, under Class I, after the entry "5. Assistant Editor under Family Welfare Programme", the following entries shall be inserted, namely:-

7. Documentalist";

(2) the existing entries in "3. Appointment" shall be re-numbered as "2"

(3) in rule 2 as so re-numbered in sub-rule (a), under Class I, after the entries "Category 5, Assistant Editor under Family Welfare Programme" in column (1) and the corresponding entries in column (2) thereof, the following entries shall, respectively, be inserted, namely:-

Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Service.

No. SRO B-28/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Service (Section 21 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 22nd August 2007.

In the said Rules, in Part II, under the heading 'Branch-I Medical',-

(1) in rule 1, under Class V, -

(a) for the expression "Category 1", the expression "Category 1A" shall be substituted.

(b) before the entries "Category 1A" as so substituted, the following entries shall be inserted, namely:-

"Category 1-Principal, College of Pharmacy.";

(2) in rule 3, in sub-rule (a), in the tabular column, under Class V, -

(a) for the expression "Category 1", the expression, "Category 1-A shall be substituted.

(b) before the expression "Category 1A" in column (1) as so substituted and the entries relating thereto in column (2), the following entries shall, respectively, be inserted, namely:-

"Category 1 - 1. Promotion from the post of Professor in any branch of Specialization in Pharmacy;

or

2. by direct recruitment if no Qualifi ed candidates are available in the above Method.

(3) in rule 7, in sub-rule (a), in the table, after the entries "Research Assistant to the Chemical Examiner" in column (1) and the corresponding entries in column (2) thereof, the following entries shall, respectively be, inserted, namely:-

"Principal, College of Pharmacy 45 years";

(4) in rule 9, in sub-rule (b), in clause (ii), after the seventh proviso, the following proviso shall be added, namely:-

"Provided also that a person appointed by promotion to the post of Principal, College of Pharmacy, need not undergo probation.";

(5) in rule 13, in sub-rule (a), after the entries "Research Assistant to the Chemical Examiner", the following entries shall be inserted, namely:-

"Principal, College of Pharmacy.";

(6) in the Annexure [referred to in rule 8(c)], under Class V, -

(a) for the expression "Category 1", the expression, "Category 1-A shall be substituted.

(b) before the expression "Category 1A" in column (1) as so substituted and the entries relating thereto in column (2), the following entries shall, respectively, be inserted, namely:-

Category 1 1. By Promotion:- Principal, College of

Pharmacy (a) Must have obtained Ph.D., degree (with fi rst class degree either in B. Pharm or M.Pharm); and (b) Must have acquired experience for period of not less than ten years in the fi eld of teaching, out of which not less than 3 years shall be at the level of Professor

Minimum of 13 years teaching experience in the category of Lecturer or Assistant Professor or Associate Professor or Professor 2. By direct recruitment:-

(a) Must have obtained Ph.D., degree (with fi rst class degree either in B. Pharm or M.Pharm); and

(b) Must have acquired experience teaching or research or industry for a period of not less than ten years in the fi eld of Pharmacy.
