In exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 10 (1) and (3) of Tamil Nadu Open University Act, 2002, the Hon'ble Governor–Chancellor hereby appoints Dr.K.Parthasarathy, formerly Senior Professor and Head, Department of Lifelong Learning and Founder Director, IECD, Bharathidasan University, Khajamalai Campus, Tiruchirapalli – 620 023, as Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai for a period of three years with eff ect from the date of his assuming offi ce.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 12 (1) and (3) of Mother Teresa Women's University Act, 1984, the Hon'ble Governor–Chancellor hereby appoints Dr.Vaidehi Vijayakumar, Senior Professor, School of Computing Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai-127 as Vice-Chancellor of Mother Teresa Women's University, Kodaikanal for a period of three years with effect from the date of her assuming offi ce.
