In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2A) of rule 29 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Elections) Rules, 1995 and sub-rule (2) of rule 27 of the Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Third Grade Municipalities, Municipalities and corporations (Elections) Rules, 2006, and in supersession of the Notification No.VI(2)/1/2019 published at pages 2-4 of Part VI - Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.1, dated 02-01-2019, the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission hereby specifies the format of the acknowledgement in the Annexure which shall be issued by the Returning Officer to the objectors when the objections lodged by the objectors in writing at the time of scrutiny of nomination papers.

Necessary steps are being taken to issue the duplicate of the said Certificates.
