RE-CONSTITUTION OF SEARCH COMMITTEE TO RECOMMEND A PANEL OF THREE NAMES TO THE HON'BLE GOVERNOR - CHANCELLOR FOR SELECTION OF VICE-CHANCELLOR TO BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY, COIMBATORE UNDER THE BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY, ACT

Under Chapter II, Section 12 (1) and (2) Bharathiar University Act 1981 (Tamil Nadu Act 1 of 1982) and as amended in Tamil Nadu Universities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2017, the Government hereby re-constitute the Search Committee consisting of the following persons to recommend a panel of three names to the Hon'ble Governor - Chancellor for appointment of Vice-Chancellor of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore:-
1. Dr. M. Sheela Priya, I.A.S.,
Government Nominee
Additional Chief Secretary (Retired), Formerly State Chief Information Commissioner.
2. Dr. C. Subramaniam,
Senate Nominee
Former Vice-Chancellor of Tamil University, Thanjavur.
3. Prof. Dr. S.P. Thyagarajan,
Syndicate Nominee
Former Vice-Chancellor of University of Madras, Chennai.
2. Dr. M. Sheela Priya, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary (Retired), Formerly State Chief Information Commissioner as Government nominee will be the Convener of the Search Committee.
3. The above Search Committee is requested to recommend a panel of three names along with their Bio-data to the Chancellor of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore for appointment of Vice-Chancellor to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
