The following Police officers of Special Division, Special Branch CID, Chennai have been awarded the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Police Medal for Gallantry in recognition of the courageous effort taken by the Special Team for collecting Intelligence on the activities of religious fundamentalist and radicalised youths and communicated to the Government authorities and Central agencies which was appreciated by one and all:-
