APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSION OF INQUIRY TO INQUIRE INTO THE CAUSES AND CIRCUMSTANCES LEADING TO THE OPENING OF FIRE RESULTING IN DEATH AND INJURIES TO PERSONS ON 22ND MAY 2018 AT THOOTHUKUDI EXTENSION OF THE PERIOD OF THE COMMISSION OF INQUIRY BY SIX MONTHS (THIRD TIME) FROM 23RD AUGUST 2019 UNDER THE COMMISSION OF INQUIRY ACT.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (Central Act LX of 1952), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Public (Law and Order-F) Department Notification No.II(2)/PULO/481(c)/2018, published at pages 1-2 of Part Il—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 23rd May 2018, as subsequently amended.

In the said Notifi cation, in paragraph 4, for the expression "fi fteen months", the expression "twenty one months" shall be substituted.
