Adhoc rules relating to the post of Data Entry operator in Tamil Nadu Public Health Subordinate Service.

No. SRO B-83/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following Rules:-

2. The Rules hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 28th July, 2015.

Rules.

The General Rules for the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service and the Special Rules applicable to the holders of the permanent posts in the Tamil Nadu Public Health Subordinate Service shall apply to the holders of the temporary post of Data Entry Operator in the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, subject to the modifications specified below namely:-

2.Constitution.- The post shall constitute a separate category in a distinct class of the said service.

3. Appointment.- Appointment to the post shall be made as follows:-

(i) By promotion from among the holders of the post of Data Entry Assistant working under the control of Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine; or

(ii) by direct recruitment, if no qualified and suitable candidates are available for appointment by promotion.

4. Appointing Authority.- The appointing authority for the post shall be the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, chennai.

5. Qualifications.- (a) Age-No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post by direct recruitment, if he has completed or will complete the age of 30 years on the first day of July of the year in which selection for appointment is made.

(b) Other Qualification.- (1) No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post, unless he possesses a degree with Typewriting Higher (English and Tamil) and must possess a Certificate in Data Entry Operator course granted by a reputed computer training organization.

Provided that the person appointed to the post by promotion, must have rendered a service of not less than five years in the post of Data Entry Assistant.

6. Probation.- Every person appointed to the post by direct recruitment shall from the date on which he joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years,

7. Preparation of annual list of approved candidates and crucial date.- For the purpose of preparation of annual list of approved candidates for appointment to the posts by direct recruitment or by promotion, on which the candidate should be qualified shall be the 15th March of every calendar year.

8. Pay.- There shall be paid to the holder of the post, a monthly pay calculated in the Pay Band and Grade Pay Rs. 5200 - 20,200 with Grade pay of Rs. 2400/-

Provided that on and from the 1st October 2017, the holders of the post shall be paid as per the Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 2017 in the level 8 of Rs.19500 - 62000, in the Pay Matrix.

Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Services.

No. SRO B-84/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu General Services (Section 16 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

2. The amendment (1) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and from 13th January 2015.

The amendments 2(c) and 2 (d) hereby made will come into force from the date of issue of the order.

Amendments

In the said Special Rules,-

(1) in Part I, under class XXIX, for the expression "Personal Assistant (Administration) in the Police Department" the expression "Administrative Officer in the Police Department" shall be substituted; and

(2) in Part II, (a) for the heading "class XXIX - Personal Assistant (Administration) in the Police Department" the heading "Class XXIX - Administrative Officer in the Police Department" shall be substituted;

(b) under class XXIX, in rule1, for the expression "Personal Assistant (Administration)", the expression "Administrative Officer" shall be substituted; and

(c) for rule 4(a), the following shall be substituted,

"Probation - Every person appointed to this class shall, from the date on which he joins duty, be on probation for a total period of one year on duty within a continuous period of two years".

(d) in rules 4 and 5, for the expression "Inspector General of Police", the expression "Director General of Police" shall be substituted.
