No.II(2)/LE/931/2019.—WHEREAS the Governor of Tamil Nadu is satisfi ed that public interest requires that the "Automobile Manufacturing Industry" should be declared as public utility service for the purposes of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947);

No.II(2)/CTR/928/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby provides for the consolidation of duty of Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty thousand only) chargeable under the said Act in respect of issue of insurance Policies by the New India Assurance Company Limited, Anna Salai, Chennai-2 for the period from 01-10-2019 to 31-03-2020.

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of Section 2 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares the "Automobile Manufacturing Industry" to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months with effect on and from the date of publication of this Notifi cation in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் மேற்சொன்ன தகராறு, சென்னை,
