RESERVATIONS OF SEATS FOR SCHEDULED CASTES, SCHEDULED TRIBES AND WOMEN IN MUNICIPALITIES UNDER THE TAMIL NADU DISTRICT MUNICIPALITIES ACT.
AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATION

Under sub-sections (5), (6) and (7) of section 7 of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920(Tamil Nadu Act V of 1920), read with rule 4 of the Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations (Delimitation of Wards or Divisions and Reservation) Rules, 1996, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/MAWS/341(i)/2019, published at pages 1 to 8 of Part II–Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 20th May 2019, namely:—

In the said notifi cation in the SCHEDULE,—
(1) in Sl.No.11 in column (1), against the corresponding entry "Poonamallee" in column (2), for the fi gures "3,5,7,10,11,13,17,19,20" in column (8), the fi gures "2,6,8,9,14,15,16,18,21" shall be substituted;
(2) in Sl.No.72 in column (1), against the corresponding entry "Puliangudi" in column (2), for the fi gures "18,19,21" in column (4) and "3,8,33" in column (5), the fi gures "3,8,33" and "18,19,21" shall, respectively, be substituted.
