In exercise of the powers conferred by section 375-B of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1920), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/MAWS/687(c-1)/2016, published at pages 1 to 11 of Part II - Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 24th October 2016, as subsequently amended.

2. This amendment shall come into force with effect on and from the 1st January 2020.
