APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL OFFICERS TO VILLAGE PANCHAYATS, PANCHAYAT UNIONS AND DISTRICT PANCHAYATS UNDER THE TAMIL NADU PANCHAYATS ACT, 1994.

AMENDMENTS TO NOTIFICATIONS

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 261-A of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1994), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/RDPR/687(d-1)/2016, published at page 1 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 24th October 2016, as subsequently amended.

2. This amendment shall come into force with effect on and from the 1st January 2020.

In the said Notifi cation, for the expression "until the 31st day of December 2019", the expression "until the 30th day of June 2020" shall be substituted.
