It is hereby notified, by direction, that the Election will be held as detailed below:

(a) The election will be held in accordance with Statutory provisions laid down in the Act and statutes of this University.

(b) Nominations should be made in th·e prescribed form which may be downloaded from the University website . www.msuniv.ac.in.

Nomination papers shall be enclosed in an envelope superscribed as 'Nomination to the senate by Teachers Acknowledgment due, so as to be received by the of each affiliated college" and sent by Registered Post with Returning Officer- within the date and hour fixed or delivered either in person or by a messenger to the Returning Officer within the last date and hour fixed. Nomination papers that are not enclosed in an envelope superscribed and sent by Registered Post or not delivered in person or by messenger as r.equired above shall be declared invalid.

(c) An elector shall be eligible to subscribe either as a proposer or as a seconder in nomination papers, only as many times as there are vacancies but not more.

IV. The following programme is fixed for the election:

1. Date of issue of Election Notification wednesday, the 5th February 2020

2. Date of commencement of nomination wednesday, the 5th February 2020

3. Last day and hour for receipt of nominations Monday, the 17th February 2020 upto 3.00 p.m. 4 scrutiny of Nominations Monday, the 17th February 2020 upto 3.30 p.m. 5. Publication of list of valid nominations Monday, the 17th February 2020 after 5.00 p.m

Monday, the 24th February 2020 upto 3.00 p.m. 6. Last day and hour by which the candidates may withdraw their candidature by notice in writing
