Under sub-section 1 of Section 15 of Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) the Governor of Tamil Nadu here by acquires the land specified in the schedule below measuring an extent of 4.33.62 Hectares or 43362 Square Meters of dry lands to the same, a little more or less needed for Highways to wit for formation of Ring Road to Vellore in Kandipedu Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District. No.II(2)/HWMP/364/2020.—The Governor of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in schedule below and situated in the Kandipedu village in the Taluk of Katpadi in the district of Vellore are required for Highways purpose to wit for formation of ring road to Vellore and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be paid by the Divisional Engineer, (construction and Maintenance), Highways Department, Vellore after considering the cause shown by the owner or other persons having interest on said land as the
