No.II(2)/cTR/373/2020.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (central Act II of 1899), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby provides for the consolidation of duty of Rs. 50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty lakh only) chargeable under the said Act in respect of issue of insurance policies by the Life Insurance corporation of India, Divisional Office, Thanjavur for the period from 01-04-2020 to 30-06-2020.
