Amendments to the Adhoc-Rules relating to the Post of Director in Motor

Vehicles Maintenance in Tamil Nadu State Transport Department.

Ms. No. 55, Transport (H1), 10th June 2020, வைகாசி 28, சார்வரி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2051.] No. SRO B-21/2020.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the adhoc rules issued with Transport Department Notifi cation No. SRO B-289/79, published at pages 342 to 344 of Part III–Section 1 (b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 6th June 1979.

2. The amendment (1) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on or from the 15th day of September, 2016.

Amendments.

In the said rules,-

(1) in rule ·1, for the expression "The General and", the expression "The Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act No. 14 of 2016) and" shall be substituted;

(2) in rule 4, in the TABLE, in column (2), for the expression "Five years" against the entry "By Promotion" in column (1), the expression "one year" shall be substituted.

Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Service.

Ms. No. 56, Transport (H1), 10th June 2020, வைகாசி 28, சார்வரி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2051.] No. SRO B-22/2020.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Service (Section 16 of Part III–A of the Special Rules in Volume-II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual 2016).

Amendments.

In the said Special Rules, in Part-II, under the heading "Class L 1. Tamil Nadu State Transport Department–Motor Vehices Maintenance Department",–

in rule 3, in sub-rule (b), in the TABLE in column (3), for the expression "fi ve" against the entry "By Promotion" in column (2) and against the entry "General Manager" in column (1) there of, the expression "two" shall be substituted.
