Provisions for the consolidation of duty chargeable in

for certain period under the Act.

2. The Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu, Chennai in his letter fourth read above has informed that Thiru D.Soundararajan, HC 1567 (SI.No.561) of Villupuram District was imposed with a punishment of "Postponement of increment for 2 years without cumulative effect" on 05-04-2018 (PR.No.66/2016) and has requested forfeiture of the medal awarded.

Amendment to Notification

[G.O.(Rt.) No.245, Commercial Taxes and Registration (J1), 31st July 2020, ஆடி 16, சார்வரி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு&2051.] No.II(2)/CTR/516/2020.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act,1899 (Central Act II of 1899) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Notifi cation No. II(2)/CTR/349/2020 published in page 510 of Part II Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 22, dated 27-05-2020.

3. The Government carefully examined the request of the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, with reference to the rules governing the award of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Constabulary Medal and have decided forfeit the said Medal awarded to Thiru D. Soundararajan, HC 1567 (SI No.561) of Villupuram District on the occasion of Pongal Day, 2017 and order accordingly. The monthly Medal allowance shall also be stopped with immediate effect.

No.II(2)/HO/519/2020.—The following members of the State Police Service and Subordinate Police service of the Tamil Nadu Police shall be awarded the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Police Medal for Excellence in Investigation on the occasion of the Independence Day, 2020:-

1. Thirumathi G. Nagajothi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police.

(D) No.356, Labour and Employment (L1), 6th August 2020, ஆடி 22, சார்வரி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு&2051.] No.II(2)/LE/520/2020.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 87 read with Section 91A of theSep 2, 2020] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 623 Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (Central Act XXXIV of 1948), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby exempts the Karur Sarvodaya Sangh, Karur from the operation of the said Act for the period of one year from 21-05-2020 to 20-05-2021.

(1) The above exemption is subject to the following conditions, namely:.·

Sangh offi ce or other premises, or any person when the said Social Security Offi cer or other offi cial has reasonable cause to believe to have been an employee; or

(d) Make copies of or take extracts from any register, account book or other document maintained in such Sangh offi ce or other premises.

Disputes between Workmen and Managements referred

to Labour Courts for Adjudication

(a) The aforesaid Sangh wherein the employees are employed shall maintain a Register showing the names and designations of the exempted employees.

(b) Notwithstanding the exemption, the employees shall continue to receive such benefi ts under the said Act to which they might have become entitled to on the basis of the contributions paid prior to the date from which exemption granted by this Notifi cation operates.

(c) The contribution for the exempted period, if already paid shall not be refunded.

(2) The employer of the said Sangh shall submit in respect of the period during which that Sangh was subject to the operation of the said Act (herein after referred as "the said period") returns, in such form and containing such particulars as were due from it in respect of the said period under the Employees' State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950.

(3) Any Social Security Offi cer appointed by the Corporation under sub-section (1) of Section 45 of the said Act, or other offi cial authorised in this behalf shall, for the purpose of,-

(i) Verifying the particulars contained in any return submitted under sub-section (1) of Section 44 of the said Act for the said period; or

No.II(2)/LE/521/2020.—இந்த ஆணையின் இணைப்பில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள பொருள் தொடர்பாக, தமிழ்நாடு அரசு போக்குவரத்துக் கழகம் (கும்பகோணம்) லிமிடெட், காரைக்குடி என்ற நிர்வாகத்திற்கும் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு போக்குவரத்து தொழிலாளர் சங்கம், சிவகங்கை மாவட்டம் என்ற தொழிற்சங்கத்திற்குமிடையே தொழிற்தகராறு எழுந்துள்ளது என்று அரசு கருதுவதாலும்;

மேற்சொன்ன தொழிற்தகராறை மதுரை, தொழிலாளர் நீதிமன்றத் தீர்ப்புக்காக அனுப்புவது அவசியமென்று தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் கருதுவதாலும்;

1947-ஆம் ஆண்டு தொழிற்தகராறுகள் சட்டத்தின் (மத்திய சட்டம் XIV/1947) 10(1)(c) பிரிவிலும், 10(1)(d) பிரிவின் வரம்பு நிபந்தனையிலும் வழங்கியுள்ள அதிகாரங்களைக் கொண்டு, தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் மேற்சொன்ன தொழிற்தகராறு, மதுரை, தொழிலாளர் நீதிமன்றத் தீர்ப்புக்காக அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும் என்று இதனால் ஆணையிடுகிறார்.

மேலும், 1947-ஆம் ஆண்டு தொழிற்தகராறுகள் சட்டத்தின் 10(2A) பிரிவின்கீழ், இந்த ஆணையைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட நாளிலிருந்து மூன்று மாதங்களுக்குள் தீர்ப்பு அளிக்குமாறு, மதுரை, தொழிலாளர் நீதிமன்றம் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.

(iv) ascertaining whether any of the provisions of the said Act had been complied with during the period when such provisions were in force in relation to the said workshops and stores be empowered to,-
