THE RIGHT TO FAIR COMPENSATION AND TRANSPARENCY IN LAND ACQUISITION, REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT ACT, 2013.

Under the proviso to clause (e) of Section 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013) and in supersession of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department Notifi cation No.SRO A-41 (C-2)/2017, published at page 49 in Part-III - Section 1(a) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 21st September 2017, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi es six hundred hectares as the area, not exceeding which the District Collector shall be deemed to be the appropriate Government in relation to acquisition of land in respect of a public purpose in the respective district.
