Under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Act, 1996 (Tamil Nadu Act 43 of 1997), the Government hereby constitute a Committee consisting of the following persons for recommending a panel of three names to the Chancellor for appointment of Vice-Chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai:-
1. Hon'ble Justice P.Kalaiyarasan,
Government Nominee Retired Judge of the High Court, Madras, Plot No.64, 3rd Cross Street, 1st Main Road, CBI Colony, Kandanchavadi, Chennai – 600 096.
2. Prof. Kamala Shankaran,
Syndicate Nominee Former Vice-Chancellor, The Tamil Nadu National Law University, Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110 007.
3. Dr. S.S.P. Darwesh,
Academic Senate Nominee
Former Vice-Chancellor, The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, No.17, Perambur High Road, Shanthi Nagar, Chennai - 600 012.
2. Hon'ble Justice P.Kalaiyarasan (Retd.) will be the Chairman of the above Committee.
3. The above Committee is requested to recommend a panel of three names along with their bio-data to the Chancellor for appointment of Vice-Chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.
