1 Election of tરૂં members to the SYNDICATE by TEACHERS of aﬃ liated Colleges, other than Principals, from among themselves who are members of the Senate, in accordance with the System of proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote.

Chaper IV Section 23 (b) Class II - Other members sub-section (4)

2 Election of ંne members to the SYNDICATE, not falling under any of the three categories mentioned in sub section (1), (2) & (3) of Section 23 (b) Class II - Other members elected by the Senate from among its members.

a) The election will be held in accordance with rules and procedures stipulated for the conduct of election to the University authorities. (Chapter XIII of Statutes of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University)

b) Nominations should be made in the prescribed form which may be downloaded from the University website રૂરૂરૂ.msunજ્ઞ્રુર્.ીc.જ્ઞ્n

Further, Nomination papers shall be enclosed in an envelope superscribed as indicated below, and sent by Registered Post (Acknowledgement due), so as to be received by the Returning Oﬃ cer within the date and hour ﬁ xed or delivered either in person or by a messenger to the Returning Oﬃ cer within the last date and hour ﬁ xed. Nomination papers that are not enclosed in an envelope, superscribed and sent by Registered Post or delivered in person or by messenger as required above shall be declared invalid.

c) An elector shall be eligible to subscribe either as a proposer or as a seconder in nomination papers, only as many times as there are vacancies but not more.

d) Nomination papers should reach the Returning Oﬃ cer not later than Friday, the 29th January 2021 upto 3.00 pm. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on the same day from 4.00 pm at the Oﬃ ce of the Returning Oﬃ cer.
