NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

THE TAMIL NADU REGULATION OF RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF LANDLORDS AND TENANTS

ACT, 2017 (TAMIL NADU ACT 42 OF 2017).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2-A) of Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 42 of 2017), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that all provisions of the said Act shall come into force in all Villages in the state as deﬁ ned in clause (36) of section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1994) with eﬀect from 04-02-2021.
