ACQUISITION OF LANDS

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 15 (1) OF TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001 (TN ACT 34 OF 2002) READ WITH TAMIL NADU ACT 38 OF 2019
No.VI(1)/56(a)/2021.
The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands specifi ed in the schedule below are acquired under Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project-II for Highways purpose for the construction of Road over bridge in Highways at km 0/2-4 of Thirumangalm Municipality Road Over Bridge inlieu of existing L.C No 377 at Railway km 512/400- 500 in between Thirumangalam and kallikudi railway station under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 Thirumangalam and Vadakarai Town, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Divisional Engineer(H), Madurai, Tamil Nadu after having considering the cause shown by the owner or other persons having interest on said lands as the case may do hereby publish the following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (TN Act 38/2019).
NOTICE
Under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 38/2019) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi ed that the Dry & Ryot manai and Ryot Punjai lands specifi ed in the schedule below and measuring to an extent of 8399.5 Sq.Mrts of lands are acquired in Thirumangalam and Vadakarai Town, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District to be the same, a little more or less needed for Highways purpose, to construction of Road over bridge in Highways at km 0/2-4 of Thirumangalm Municipality Road Over Bridge inlieu of existing L.C No 377 at Railway km 512/400-500 in between Thirumangalam and kallikudi railway station under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001.
The plan of the lands under acquisition is kept in the offi ce of the District Revenue offi cer, Madurai may be inspected at any time during the offi ce hours.
