APPOINTMENT OF FIRST VICE-CHANCELLOR OF Dr. J JAYALALITHAA UNIVERSITY, VILLUPURAM UNDER THE Dr. J JAYALALITHAA UNIVERSITY ACT, 2021 (TAMIL NADU ACT, 5 OF 2021) [G.O.Ms. No. 85, Higher Education (K2), 26th February 2021, மாசி 14, சார்வரி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2052.] No. II(2)/HE/132(m)/2021.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 53 of the Dr. J Jayalalithaa University Act, 2021 (Tamil Nadu Act 5 of 2021), the Government hereby appoint Prof. S. Anbazhagan, Dean, Faculty of Science, Periyar University, Salem as the fi rst Vice-Chancellor of Dr. J Jayalalithaa University, Villupuram for a period of three years or till he attains the age of 70 years whichever is earlier, from the date of his assuming offi ce.
