Ex-IV-2—159-168 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY The following Act of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly received the
assent of the Governor on the 9th March 2021 and is hereby
published for general information:—
ACT No. 9 OF 2021.
A(cid:79)(cid:1)(cid:34)(cid:68)(cid:85) to provide for the appropriation of certain further moneys out of the(cid:1) Consolidated Fund of the State for the services and purposes of the financial year which commenced on the 1st day of April 2020.
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Seventy (cid:14)(cid:84)econd Year of the Republic of (cid:1)India as follows:--
1. This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Appropriation Act, 2021.
Short title.
2. The (cid:1)State (cid:1)Government may appropriate (cid:1)out of the Consolidated Fund of the
State for the services and purposes of the financial year which commenced on the 1st day of April 2020, a further sum not exceeding Twenty One Thousand One Hundred and Seventy Two Crores Ei(cid:72)(cid:73)ty Two Lakhs and Five thousand rupees, being moneys required to meet--
(a) the supplementary grants made by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for that year, as set forth in column (3) of the Schedule; and
Supplementary appropriation out of the Consolidated Fund of the State for the services and purposes of the financial year which commenced on the 1st day of April (cid:19)(cid:17)(cid:19)(cid:17)(cid:15) (b) the supplementary expenditure
(cid:1) charged on the Consolidated Fund of the State
for that year, as set forth in column (4) of the Schedule.

(a) the grants made in advance by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for a part of the financial year commencing on the 1st day of April 2021, as set forth in column (3) of the Schedule; and
Withdrawal of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State for a part of the financial year commencing on the 1st day of April 2021.
