CONSTITUTION OF SEARCH COMMITTEE TO RECOMMEND A PANEL OF THREE NAMES TO THE CHANCELLOR FOR APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHANCELLOR TO ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY, KARAIKUDI UNDER THE ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY ACT.

Under Section 13(1) and (2) of Alagappa University Act, 1985 and amendment made in the Tamil Nadu Universities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2017, the Governor of Tamil Nadu constitute a Search Committee consisting of the following members to recommend a panel of three names to the Chancellor for appointment of Vice-Chancellor of Alagappa University, Karaikudi:-
1. Prof. Y. Satyanarayana,
Chancellor's Nominee Former Vice-Chancellor, Law University, Flat 304, SSV Empire, Pedawaltair, Vishakapatnam, Pin: 530 017. ( Landmark: Near Union Bank)
2. Dr. M. Manivel,
Government Nominee Former Head of the Department, Tamil Department, Madurai Kamaraj University.
3. Prof. K. Meena,
Senate Nominee 2 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY 4. Dr. P. Duraisamy,
Syndicate Nominee

2. Prof. Y. Satyanarayana, Former Vice-Chancellor, Law University, will be the Convener of the above Search Committee.
3. The above committee is requested to recommend a panel of three names along with their Bio-data to the Hon'ble Governor-Chancellor of Alagappa University, Karaikudi.
