Under Section 9(1) & (2) of Annamalai University Act, 2013 and amendment made in the Tamil Nadu Universities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2017, the Governor of Tamil Nadu constitute a Search committee consisting of the following members to recommend a panel of three names to the chancellor for appointment of Vice-chancellor of Annamalai University, Annamalainagar :-

| 2. | Dr. S. M. Ramasamy, Former Vice-chancellor, Gandhigram Rural University. | Government nominee / Member |
| 3. | Prof. R. Thirumalaisamy, Former Vice-chancellor, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Melakottaiyur, chennai. No.33, 4th Street, North Extension, Subramaniapuram, Karaikudi – 630 002 | Syndicate nominee / Member |
2. Dr. Shri. Nageshwar Rao, will be the convenor of the above Search committee.
3. The above committee is requested to recommend a panel of three names along with their Bio-data to the Hon'ble Governor-chancellor of Annamalai University, Annamalainagar.
