Under clause (a) of Section 2 read with clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Essential Articles Control and Requisitioning Act, 1949 (Tamil Nadu Act XXIX of 1949), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares the following medical items specifi ed in column (2) below, as essential articles to be sold at the maximum retail price specifi ed in column (3) thereof:
