CONSTITUTION OF 16 SPECIAL COURTS IN 16 DISTRICTS FOR EXCLUSIVE TRIAL OF CASES UNDER THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM OFFENCES ACT AND DESIGNATION THE EXISTING MAHILA COURTS/FAST TRACK MAHILA COURTS AS SPECIAL COURTS TO TRY THE CASES UNDER THE ACT.

AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATIONS

In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 28 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Madras, hereby makes the following amendment to the Home Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/HO/927(a-1)/2019, published at pages 1 and 2 of Part II - Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 20th November 2019:-

In the said Notifi cation, in the TABLE, for SI.No.6, 8 and 13 in column (1) and the corresponding entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) thereof, the following entries shall, respectively be substituted, namely:-
