(2) Where there is no difference in the daily hours of work and where the same work or work of a similar nature is performed, no distinction in the payment of wages should be made between men and women workers as per the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976 (Central Act 25 of 1976).
No.II(2)/LE/379/2021.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 3 and sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act XI of 1948), and in supersession of the Labour Employment Department Notifi cation No. II(2)/LE/133/2015, published at page 250 of Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 18th March 2015, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Board, hereby revises the minimum rates of wages payable to the classes of employees employed in Agriculture and works ancillary to Agriculture, as specifi ed in Part-II of the Schedule to the said Act, in the State of Tamil Nadu, specifi ed in column (2) of the Schedule below as specifi ed in the corresponding entries in column (3) thereof, the draft of the same having been previously published as required by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the said Act.
(3) For the purpose of this Notifi cation, the minimum rates of wages specifi ed above shall be all inclusive of rate allowing for the basic rate, cost of living allowance and the cash value of concession, if any, but it does not include the cost of food, if any, supplied to the workers and hence the cost of food shall not be deducted from the minimum rates of wages paid to the workers.
2. This Notifi cation shall come into force with effect on and from the dated of its publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

மேற்சொன்ன தகராறில், குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள கோரிக்கையினை சென்னை, தொழிற்தீாப்பாயத்தின் தீர்ப்புக்காக அனுப்புவது அவசியமென்று தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் கருதுவதாலும்; 1947-ஆம் ஆண்டு தொழிற்தகராறுகள் சட்டத்தின் (மத்திய சட்டம் XIV/1947) 10(1)(c) பிரிவிலும், 10(1)(d) பிரிவின் வரம்பு நிபந்தனையிலும் வழங்கியுள்ள அதிகாரங்களைக் கொண்டு, தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் மேற்சொன்ன தகராறு, சென்னை, தொழிற்தீர்ப்பாயத்தின் தீர்ப்புக்காக அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும் என்று இதனால் ஆணையிடுகிறார்.
மேலும், 1947-ஆம் ஆண்டு தொழிற்தகராறுகள் சட்டத்தின் 10(2A) பிரிவின்கீழ், இந்த ஆணையைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட நாளிலிருந்து மூன்று மாதங்களுக்குள் தீர்ப்பு அளிக்குமாறு சென்னை, தொழிற்தீர்ப்பாயம் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.

(i) The dearness allowance is linked to the Average Chennai City Consumer Price Index for the year 2010, that is 161 points (with base 2001=100) and for every raise of one point over and above 161 points, an increase of Rs. 58.65 (Rupees fi fty eight and paise sixty fi ve only) per month shall be paid as dearness allowance.

(ii) The dearness allowance shall be calculated every year on the fi rst April on the basis of the average of the indices for the preceding twelve months that is from january to December.
(iii) The fi rst calculation shall be effective from the date of publication of this Notifi cation in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette based on the average Chennai City Consumer Price Index Number for the previous year.
(3) Where the nature of work is the same, no distinction in the payment of wages shall be made in the case of male and female employees.
(4) To arrive at the daily rates of wages, the monthly wages shall be divided by 26.
(5) To arrive at the monthly rates of wages, the daily rates of wages shall be multipiled by 30.
(6) Wherever the existing wages are higher than the minimum wages fi xed herein the existing wages shall be continued to be paid

Mines of coal, iron-stone, slate or other minerals lying under the said land or any particular portion of the said land, except such parts of the mines and minerals which may be required to be dug or removed or used during the construction phase of the project for the purpose of which the land is being acquired, are not needed.
A plan of the land may be inspected in the Offi ce of the Special Tahsildar, River Linking Project, Unit-6, Radhapuram @ Nanguneri and Offi ce of the Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Nambiyar Reservoir Project Division, Valliyoor on any working day.
