Amendment to the Tamil Nadu Liquor (Licence and Permit) Rules.

No.SRO A-15/2021.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 54 of the Tami Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Liquor (Licence and Permit) Rules, 1981:-

In the said Rules, in rule 25(I), for the expression ''குடி குடியைக் கெடுக்கும், குடிப்பழக்கம் உடல் நலத்தைக் கெடுக்கும். Drinking liquor will ruin the family Drinking liquor is injurious to health (மது - நாட்டுக்கு, வீட்டுக்கு, உயிருக்கும் கேடு)'', following expression shall be substituted, namely:-

"CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IS INJURIOUS TO HEALTH

மது அருந்துதல் உடல் நலத்திற்கு கேடு

BE SAFE - DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE

பாதுகாப்பாக இருப்பீர் - மது அருந்திவிட்டு வாகனம் ஓட்டாதீர்''.
