Notice under Section 15(1) of Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001(TN Act 34 of 2002) read with the
Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws (Revival of Operation, Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019.
The Governor of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands in the schedule below are required for the purpose of Forming Link Road and Construction of Bridge across Buckingham Canal Connecting Rajiv Gandhi Salai and East Coast Road at Neelangarai it having already been decided that the entire amount of Compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Divisional Engineer (H), Chennai Metropolitan Development Plan, Division – I, Guindy, Chennai – 32 and after having considered the cause shown by the owner or other person having interest in the said lands, as the case may be, do hereby publish the following notice under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu highways Act 2001 (TN Act 34/2002).

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002). The Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the land specifi ed in the schedule below measuring 156 Sq. Meters to the same, a little more or less required Forming Link Road and Construction of Bridge Across Buckingham Canal Connecting Rajiv Gandhi Gandhi salai and East Coast Road at Neelangarai.
The plan of the land under acquisition kept in the Offi ce of the Special District Revenue Offi cer (L.A), Highways Metro wing, Alandur, Chennai - 16 and may be inspected at any time during offi ce hours.

No.220/2021.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 13 of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the High Court hereby appoints the following 8 Deputy Tahsildars of Tiruchirappalli District, to undergo Magisterial Training for a period of 120 days, from the date of assumption of charge and confers upon them the ordinary powers conferable under this Code on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were earlier triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate.
