CONSTITUTION OF 4 MORE SPECIAL COURTS ONE EACH AT DHARMAPURI, DINDIGUL, THENI AND TIRUVALLUR DISTRICTS FOR EXCLUSIVE TRIAL OF CASES UNDER THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM SEXUAL OFFENCES ACT.

In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 28 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Madras, hereby establishes Special Courts in the cadre of Sessions Judge to try the offences under the said Act, specifi ed in column (3) of the Table below within the local area of the respective districts, specifi ed in column (2) thereof, with effect from the date on which the Judge assume charge of the said Courts, respectively:-

In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 28 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012) read with Section 25 of the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 (Central Act 4 of 2006), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Madras, hereby makes the following amendment to the Home Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/HO/927(a-2)/2019, published at pages 2-4 of Part II - Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 20th November 2019, namely:-
