AcqUISITION OF LANDS

Under the first proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws from acquisition of the lands specified in the Schedule below in respect of which notice under sub-section (1) of Section 3 was published as Notification No.II(2)/IND/987(c-18)/2013 by the Industries (MID.2) Department at pages 26-27 of Part II - Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 30th December 2013 and actual possession of which was not taken by, or on behalf of, the Government.
