DELEGATION OF POWERS TO THE JOINT DIRECTOR (HANDLOOMS), OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF HANDLOOMS AND TEXTILES FOR APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTORS IN CERTAIN PRIMARY WEAVERS CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES EXTENSION OF THE TENURE FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM 30-09-2021 UNDER THE TAMIL NADU CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT, 1983.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 172 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby authorises the Joint Director (Handlooms), Offi ce of the Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles, to exercise the powers vested in the Government under clause (iii) of sub-section (7) of section 33 of the said Act, for the purpose of appointment of the Managing Directors to the Primary Weavers Co-operative Societies, subject to the condition that the Offi cers of the Handlooms and Textiles Department indicated in column (3) of the Table below shall be appointed as Managing Directors of the Primary Weavers Co-operative Societies having an annual turnover as indicated in the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, for a further period of one year from the 30th September 2021.
