DELEGATION OF POWERS UNDER SECTION 3(1) TO COMMISSIONER OF LAND ADMINISTRATION UNDER THE TAMIL NADU ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES ACT, 1997.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23-A read with Clause (a) of section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai to perform the functions of the Collector under that Act and authorise the Commissioner of Land Administration to exercise the powers of the Government vested in them under sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the said Act.
