AMENDMENTS TO THE TAMIL NADU UNORGANISED DRIVERS AND AUTOMOBILE WORKSHOP WORKERS SOCIAL SECURITY AND WELFARE SCHEME 2006.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Unorganised Drivers and Automobile Workshop Workers Social Security and Welfare Scheme, 2006, as subsequently amended.

In the said Scheme,-
(1) in clause 17, in sub-clause (2) in item (a), for the expression "Rs.1,00,000" the expression "Rs.2,00,000" shall be substituted;
(2) in clause 20, in sub-clause (1), for the expression "Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only)", the expression "Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only)" shall be substituted;
(3) in clause 21,
(i) in sub-clause (1), in the Table,-
(a) for serial No.6 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"6 XIII Studying regular Bachelor Degree 4,000 4,000 4,000 4,000".;

"11 XI-A 6th to 9th Standard studying 1,000 1,000 - - ";
(ii) for sub-clause (3), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:-
(3) The application for assistances specifi ed in serial numbers 2 and 5 in column (1) of the Table in sub-clause (1) submitted after passing of the course, shall be in Form XI; the application for assistances specifi ed in serial numbers 6 to 10 in column (1) of the said Table shall be in Form XIII to be submitted before completion and passing of the course; the application for the assistances specifi ed in serial numbers 1, 3 and 4 shall be in Form XII to be submitted before completion and passing of the course; and the application for assistances specifi ed in serial number 11 in column (1) of the Table shall be in Form XI-A to be submitted before completion and passing of the course.";
(4) after Form XI, the following Form shall be inserted, namely:-
